10 Nosy Questions for Authors
Describe your life in a nutshell. My life story could be a book of its own. I was born in Trenton, New Jersey, grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and now live in South America. I am the single mother of a smart, handsome and very talented sone and two fur babies. I spent years working three jobs which included being a bookkeeper, managing a hair salon, working for an ad agency and my favorite job – selling cars at a Chevrolet dealership just to name a few. In my early 40’s I went back to college to complete the accounting degree I abandoned in my 20’s. I moved to Ecuador with the love of my life a year and a half ago. He passed away in a freak accident a few months ago. I now write and have my own organic product business. When I’m not making candles, soaps and body products I’m writing and traveling the world.
What book do you recommend to everyone – even people who don’t ask? One of my favorite books is Goddess of Love by PC Cast. It’s part of her Goddess Summoning Series, and yes I recommend it to everyone. The MC reminds me of that crazy aunt that always comes out with the most outrageous things at every family get together. (In my family, that would be me.)
Which of your quirks have you written into a character? Besides my love of the beach and talking to myself and my animals? THe quirk I have written in to my current work is my love of classic cars. I grew up under the hood of a car and racing classic cars.
Have you written someone who was rude into a book so you could get eternal payback? To be honest – I have.
Which book boyfriend would you run away with? Well, I love the hot and sexy bad boys, so Adrick Wilder from Into the Shadow by Christina Dodd is the book boyfriend I would
Have you ever taken a bookcation? I sure have. I have traveled to Ireland and spent time in castles, visiting the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed and drinking pints of Guinness in several Irish pubs that were written into books by Nora Roberts.
What Fandom do you geek out over? I geek out over Lucifer, Supernatural, and anything Star Wars!
Does anyone in your family read your books? If they do can they look you in the eye at Thanksgiving? I’m laughing right now because yes, my family members
How many more stories are rattling around in your brain trying to get out? There are so many stories rattling around in my head, that If I live for another 200 years, I stil wouldn’t have time to write them all. This is why while writing and releasing books for my current adult series, The Tarot Series, I will also be releasing the first book of a new young adult series, Season of the Witch, before the end of the year.
What did you have the most fun with in your last novel? I had the most fun with the Tarot readings and a southern character who will be making more appearances throughtout the series.
