Kyra Fox

OMG y’all. Kyra Fox answered my 10 Nosy Questions! I don’t know about you but I love her so darn much.

10 Nosy Questions

Describe your life in a nutshell.

I moved house almost every year over three continents until I was eight, have been enjoying a severe case of wanderlust ever since. Have a doctor hubby, a toddler ninja who like sparkly dresses and an overstocked liquor cabinet.

What book do you recommend to everyone – even people who don’t ask?

The Little Prince. It’s different every time you read it and is such a clever and insightful book.

Which of your quirks have you written into a character?

My clumsiness is in Trista, my main character from book two. I think that’s the most obvious quirk I projected on one of my characters. A lot of them also have a tendency to speak to themselves.

Have you written someone who was rude into a book so you could get eternal payback?

Not exactly, but let’s just say book three in my series makes it very clear how I see my former occupation as a corporate lawyer, and more specifically some of the people I used to work with.

Which book boyfriend would you run away with?

I have a harem of those! Ryan, the Chief, from Miri Stone’s Phoenix Crew series. Kane from Finding My Safe by Halo Roberts (as long as his girl Wren came along). Blake from AJ Anderson’s K&S Securities series is a recent addition Ford from Mira Lyn Kelly’s Now and Then. About 4 more guys at least from the Oxford Series by Lauren Layne. What can I say? I’m greedy.

Have you ever taken a book-cation?

Not yet. I’ve been to bookish tourist locations, but never as a preplanned trip.

What Fandom do you geek out over?

Harry Potter. So Bad. I’m addicted to those.

Does anyone in your family read your books? If they do can they look you in the eye at Thanksgiving?

My sister reads ALL my books, she gets so many personal Easter Eggs I put in them, I love it! We just never talk about the sex scenes, mainly cause of her though, I don’t mind. My cousins read them too, apparently my family is good at compartmentalizing.

How many more stories are rattling around in your brain trying to get out?

I have about 15 WIPs at the “started writing them down” phase, and a few dozen more just running amok in my brain incoherently yelling at me.

What did you have the most fun with in your last novel?

My male protagonist just went wild west and ended up totally different than what I was planning, I loved writing him and discovering the real him.

Released March 3, 2020

When best friends become lovers, giving into decadent desires and undeniable need, the explosive outcome is inevitable.

Trista is a vibrant young woman who seems carefree and fearless – a mask she’s honed down to perfection. Brian, her best friend’s older brother, is no stranger to tragedy and quickly becomes one of her closest friends when she finds herself in need of someone to lean on.

They spent years hiding their true feelings, but circumstances eventually force buried desires to the surface, revealing Brian is a lust-driven man with irresistible dominance, and Trista soon learns she craves the pleasures of submission as they discover a new heat-filled connection.

A melt your screen friends to lovers romance novel, Dare to Look, is the story of a boy and a girl, the harsh life realities they had to learn at too young of an age, and how their friendship means so much, they’re afraid to let their love shine lest it ruins the one that saved them at their darkest hour.
